Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

Acknowledgment

These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, then You may not access the Service.

You represent that You are over the age of 18. The Company does not permit those under 18 to use the Service.

You represent and warrant that You acknowledge, understand, and accept the following:

The Company reserves the right to change or modify these Terms at any time and in its sole discretion, as set out under "Changes to These Terms and Conditions" below. Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with the Company's Privacy Policy.

The Verification Service

The Service records and publicly displays Verifications. A Verification may establish a link between a Wallet and one or more of: a username, an internet domain, and an X Account. Control is demonstrated as follows:

The Service does not store Your private keys, recovery phrases, passwords, or X credentials, and never asks You to disclose them. You demonstrate control through actions You take from Your own Wallet and X Account.

Usernames

A VerifiedHub username is a public identifier linked to a specific XRP Ledger address. Upon successful registration, Your username will be publicly visible and may appear in third-party services that integrate with the Service or its APIs.

Only one username may be registered per XRP Ledger address, and a registered username is permanent and cannot be changed by You. You may only register an address that You fully control. The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, revoke, or disable any username at any time for reasons including fraud, impersonation, unlawful activity, abuse, trademark infringement, misleading conduct, or any activity that may pose legal, regulatory, or reputational risk.

X Account Verification, Re-Checks, and Status

When You verify an X Account, the Company records the Verification together with a snapshot of the public account details available at that time, which may include the account's reported creation date, display name, follower and following counts, and any verification mark applied by X.

To keep Verified Data current, the Company performs periodic automated re-checks of verified X Accounts (currently on an approximately monthly basis) by looking up the account through X's interfaces. As a result of a re-check, the Service may display a current status for the X Account, including that it is active, that it has been suspended by X, that it has been deleted, or that it has been flagged as suspicious (for example, where the underlying account identifier no longer corresponds to the originally verified handle). Statuses reflecting X's actions are reported as X reports them; the "suspicious" status reflects the Company's own inference and not a statement by X.

A Verification is a historical fact. If an X Account is later suspended, deleted, renamed, or transferred, the Company does not remove the historical record that the Verification occurred and the details recorded at that time. The Service may instead display both the historical Verification and the current status side by side. The Company does not represent that a verified X Account remains active, controlled by the same person, or in good standing after the time of Verification.

Public Visibility and Data Linkage

The Service exists to make Verified Data public. You acknowledge and agree that:

You may withdraw a previously verified domain or X Account from active display by lapsing or not renewing its Verification; however, the historical record of past Verifications may be retained as described above.

Fees, Payments, and Renewal

Fees for Verification and renewal are denominated in fiat currency and displayed at the time of purchase. At the time of payment, the Service quotes an equivalent amount in XRP based on a then-current exchange rate, locked for a short window. You pay the quoted amount from Your Wallet, and the Company validates the payment against that quote. Because of exchange-rate movement, the fiat value actually received may differ slightly from the displayed price.

Right to Refuse, Suspend, or Revoke

The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, revoke, or disable any Verification, username, or display of Verified Data at any time, in its sole discretion, including for reasons of fraud, impersonation, unlawful activity, abuse, trademark or intellectual-property infringement, misleading conduct, or any activity that may pose legal, regulatory, or reputational risk. The Company is not obliged to provide reasons for such a decision and bears no liability to You for it.

API and Data Use

Where the Company makes an API or programmatic access to Verified Data available, Your use of it is subject to separate API terms published by the Company, in addition to these Terms. Without limitation, You may not use any such API or Verified Data to: violate any applicable law or the rights of any person; circumvent rate limits or security measures; re-sell, redistribute, or syndicate access except under a written agreement with the Company; or isolate or target any individual or small group for unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory purposes. The Company may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any API at any time without notice.

Third-Party Content and Links

The Service relies on and displays data from third parties, including the XRP Ledger and X. The Company does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, policies, or practices of any third-party service, and assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such third-party content or service. We strongly advise You to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services You use, including those of X.

Termination

These Terms become effective when You first access or use the Service and remain in force until terminated. We may terminate or suspend Your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if You breach these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Termination does not entitle You to any refund, and the Company may retain Verified Data and historical records as described in these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of these Terms, and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service, or USD 5.00 if You have not purchased anything through the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, loss of privacy, business interruption, or reputational harm) arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case each party's liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer

The Service is provided to You "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and defects, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company, on its own behalf and on behalf of its Affiliates and its and their respective licensors and service providers, expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Company makes no representation or warranty that the Service will meet Your requirements, achieve any intended results, be available without interruption, be accurate, reliable, or current, or be free of harmful components.

Governing Law

The laws of the Country, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, shall govern these Terms and Your use of the Service. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

Disputes Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, You will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect a party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any later time, nor shall the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect, such as by posting the updated Terms with a revised "Last updated" date. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
